“So in everything, do unto others what you would have them do unto you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12

The quote above is from one of the oldest, most widely read anthologies in human history. Another ideal in many parts of the world acknowledges the “Divine Feminine” is as necessary for true enlightenment, peace, and balance.

Imagine if the world intentionally upheld the “do unto others” belief. What changes would we see? What improvements would we make? What legacy could we leave behind?

There are questions to ask that bring our world into harsh light in based on these core beliefs. What if we did unto mothers as we would want for ourselves? What if we honored the divine feminine in every woman? How much more nurturing could she provide? How much more love? How much more peace could there be? How much more care?

It was out of these questions
that
Touch of Gold was born.

The answers can mean the difference between life and death. For historically disenfranchised women of color, this statement is even more real. In the United States, non-white women have a measurably higher mortality rate during their most vulnerable time.

Quality, accessible maternal care, and support will allow for more significant health equity leading to:

  • Improved labor and delivery outcomes.

  • Improved breastfeeding rates.

  • And finally, improved health for the child, the mother, and, therefore, the family.

Imagine being the generation that leaves a legacy of HEALTH. It all begins now. It all starts with her. It’s time to #livegolden.
